<s:content>1 Another J2SE JSR82 implementation {anchor:Another J2SE JSR82 implementation}
Since it seems there's no progress with the beautiful bluecove desktop JSR82 implementation I am glad I found a promising other project (Well the last update was in mid 2005 but I hope the work on that will continue):

https://bluesock.dev.java.net/

Look really promising. Like bluecove it needs WinXP SP2 with the Microsoft bluetooth stack.

And I just figured out a really annoying thing:

When I want to connect from the mobile to the WinXP box (SPP) I have to set "authenticate=true" on the MIDlet side.

If I don't use that I get an SymbianOS error -34 (Connection failed).
</s:content>
