TinyLine SVG Rocks 
Although I knew of
this for months I just installed that SVG player the first time on my 6600.
I'm very impressed by that. It's not too slow to be useful and it's pure Java and embedable into my own midlets. Very cool.
Now I'm waiting for a new phone for me with JSR 226 support (Scalable 2D Vector Graphics API for J2ME). When I can use hardware/native accelerated SVG from my MIDlet - forget about the mobile flash players. (In fact I have a mobile flash player installed on my phone but never really used it ....).
