DRM for MIDlets 
For the trial versions of my software I thought about using OMA DRM 1.0.
The only problem is that forward lock is almost useless (an average user can't forward a JAR file from an S60 device) and with combined delivery there's no problem in reinstalling a trial version again and again.
The only thing that might work is separate delivery of the rights object but the problem here is that the only defined way to deliver this is to use WAP Push. But WAP Push involves paying for the message transport and this is something a small developer can't do. It might be a good thing if you can afford to pay for every trail version a user downloads but for most developers this is a "no go".
So the only way to go is to use limited trail versions with missing functionality. But that is so much "PC like" …
